Shoreline Service Project - February 15, 2014

 February Shoreline Service Project
When: February 15, 2014, 9 am to noon

Project Description

This project will involve the hand removal of non-native invasive weeds from a burrowing owl foraging mitigation area, mulching around native plants, and adjusting drip irrigation system for native plants. The project will make a difference in the establishment of this habitat area for a species of special concern found within the boundaries of Shoreline at Mountain View. 

What to Wear/Bring

Please wear Class B Uniform - long pants and Troop 33 T-shirt,  and close-toe shoes.  We recommend layers/long sleeves and a hat. All volunteers need to bring plenty of water, a snack, sunscreen, and of course a good attitude.  All other equipment will be provided. 

Before You Go

Please make sure you have your signed BOTH waiver forms, one from BSA and one from the city of Mountain View. You can find the forms at the end of this page.

Meeting Location

At the end of parking lot on Terminal Boulevard in Mountain View.


From 101 North take the San Antonio exit toward the bay. Go toward the end of the road and San Antonio will turn into Terminal Boulevard. On the left hand side there will be a parking lot, we will meet at the end of the Terminal Boulevard. It will be a short walk to the work site.
