A one day trip to San Francisco that starts with an exciting ride on San Francisco Fire Department's Fire Boat on San Francisco Bay.  After exploring the fire boat, in the morning, we will break for a sack lunch.  Then it's over to the Exploratorium for an ongoing exploration of science, art and human perception.  This playful learning laboratory of interactive exhibits and experiences is sure to ignite the scouts curiosity and make for an exciting afternoon.  Scouts will return to LAUMC in time for a late dinner.

Maximum participants is 30 Scouts and adults for the boat ride.  The number and age of Scouts that attend will dictate the number of adults (and cars) needed.

Bring a sack lunch!

Weather on San Francisco Bay can be very cold and as we will be on a boat, wet - so be sure to bring appropriate cold weather gear (layers, layers, layers)!
