Scouting For Food Drop-Off - November 12, 2016

What: Scouting For Food Drop-Off
When: November 12, 2016,  9:00 am - Noon
Where: Meet at LAUMC
Who: All Troop 33 Scouts
Uniform: Class A
Activity Coordinator: Caroline Tice

Scouting For Food is an annual BSA service project conducted across the entire country. The food collected by this event goes to
local food banks (in our case Second Harvest) to help those in our community who need assistance. On Saturday 11/12 from 9 am
to noon we will distribute the door hangers that announce the event; on Saturday 11/19 we will collect food from the same area, also
from 9 am to noon (or when we’ve collected and turned in all the food). You may sign up for either or both of the days. You will be credited
Service Hours for your effort.

Meet at the LAUMC parking lot at 9:00 am for zone and driver assignments, door hangers, and maps.

The Scouts will need a separate Activity Consent Form for each event:  one for the drop-off on the 12th, and one for the pick-up on the 19th.
We also need many parent volunteers so ask your parents if they can help out as well!
