In a game of broomball there are two teams. Players hit a small ball around the ice with a stick called a "broom".
The broom may have a wooden or aluminum shaft and has a rubber-molded triangular head similar in shape to that of a regular broom . 
Goals are scored by hitting the ball into your opponent's net using your broom. 
Tactics and plays are similar to those used in ice hockey.

NOTE: All Scouts must fill turn in a signed BSA Activity Consent Form (see below) two weeks before.

Broomball is played sneakers. Helmets, kneepads, and elbow pads are recommended.


1:00pm - Meet at Winter Lodge
1:30pm to 2.30pm - On the ice (play Broomball)
2.30pm to 3.00pm - Enjoy some hot chocolate with the group

Pay Online

Scout/Adult Payment ($25 + $1.06 payment fee)
Checks made out to "BSA Troop 33" can also be given to the Activity Coordinator (no payment fee needed).
