Dress: Class A for all Travel and Saturday Morning Flags - Class B during the day.
Capacity: We only have space for 9 Webelos scouts and 9 more boyscouts. 
Webelo Families: We have invited several Webelo families to join us on this trip, and they will use this form to signup also your cost is $0. Troop 33 pays your way.

We will also have a custom silk-screen with the 2017 Gold Rush Adventure! Design.  Bring a plain T-shirt (in whatever size you want, white or light colors work best) and take home a custom T-shirt!

Cost includes two nights camping, cracker barrel, a patch, and all event materials. There will also be BB range time for Webelos, and events suitable for their participation.

Activities

The activities you can participate in depend on if you are a Boy Scout or a Webelo:
  • Scouts - archery, hawk throwing, muzzleloading rifle, slingshots
  • Webelos - archery, BB guns, slingshots
  • All - candle making, rope making, gold panning, flint-n-steel, dutch oven cooking, bullet casting, jerky making, steer roping, branding, beadwork, leatherwork, and more!
  • All - bead projects, branding, bucksaw, bullet casting, candle making, donut making, Dutch Ovens, fire making, flint-n-steel, gold panning, jerky making, leatherworking, log pull, rope making, steer roping, stick bread, and custom silkscreened t-shirts!

.What to Do
  • Sign up!
  • Have your parents sign the following forms (see below)
    • Activity Consent Form
    • Pacific Skyline Council Shooting Sports Waiver
      • Print two-sided
      • Front-side: must fill out for Boy Scouts who want to shoot muzzleloading rifles AND Webelos who want to shoot air/pellet rifles (considered a “BB device”).
      • Back-side: must fill out by Boy Scouts AND Cub Scouts and checked off for those items from archery, tomahawk, and/or slingshot which are permitted by the BSA and approved by the parent or guardian.  Boy Scouts can do all three and Webelos can do archery/slingshot.

Friday, October 6

  • Meet at LAUMC by 4:00pm, Leave by 5:00pm
  • Arrive at Boulder Creek and setup camp (Cubland)
  • Dinner will be pizza at the campsite
  • Campfire activities within campsite hosted by Cameron Jones
  • Lights out

Saturday, October 7

  • Patrols cook breakfast
  • 8:30am - Opening ceremony - Class A uniform for Flags's
  • 9:00am - Events open (buddy pairs enjoy the activities)
  • 12:00pm - Lunch at the campsite (all activities closed till 1pm)
  • 1:00pm - Events open
  • 4:30pm - Gold Rush Challenge starts
  • 5:00pm - Events close
  • 5:30pm - Patrols cook dinner at the campsite
  • 6:00pm - Gold Rush Challenge ends
  • 7:30pm - Campfire at campfire circle
  • 9:00pm - Ice cream social
  • 10:00pm - Lights out/Quiet Hours 

Sunday, October 8

  • Patrols cook breakfast and pack up
  • Arrive back at LAUMC around 11 am
