Giants Day

On August 17th, 22 scouts and 17 adults went to San Francisco to watch the Giants play the Phillies. After taking the CalTrain into the city, the scouts walked to AT&T Park. The first 20,000 people to enter the park got a set of Giants trading cards, and the scouts were lucky enough to be a part of the giveaway. The boys were then allowed to venture to the different eateries around the park. As Mr. Stanley quotes, “I think I saw just about every food offered at the ballpark consumed by our boys.” The eager scouts soon took their seats to watch the eventful game. The top of the 9th inning ended with the Giants beating the Phillies 5-2. This was a great outing and all of our scouts enjoyed the event!
