On October 18th, 61 adults, Scouts, and Webelos headed to Boulder Creek for a fun filled weekend. Over the course of the 3 day event Boy Scouts and Webelos were able to participate in fun activities such as: Archery, Gold Panning, Black Powder Rifle Shooting, Knife and Tomahawk Throwing, Rope Making, Candle Making, Flint and Steel, Dutch Oven Cooking, Display Rifles, Making Bullets, and Silkscreening. Scouts got to see how early pioneers lived by seeing an authentic reproduction of a mountain man encampment. On the second night of the trip all of the Scouts got to cook dinner for the Webelos and their Parents. After dinner all of the participants got to join a fun campfire filled with songs, skits, and stories. This weekend was a great way for Webelos scouts to connect with Troop 33 Boy Scouts and encourage them to join our troop.
