On November 22, 2013, 20 Scouts and 5 adults headed to Planet Granite for loads of fun. When the scouts arrived, the adults explained the knots used for climbing and demonstrated how to tie them. Each Scout was required to successfully tie each knot. Three Planet Granite instructors arrived to explain the rules of the facility and help everybody climb. Each Scout was given a safety harness and a helmet to wear while climbing. The qualified adults and instructors belayed the Scouts on their climbs. Scouts had the chance to participate in numerous rope climbs and bouldering with a range of difficulties. Some Scouts even had the chance to walk on a tightrope! Planet Granite provided many fun and challenging experiences for Scouts to participate in.
