Devan Narog devannarog@gmail.com

Hi Troop 33 Scouts,

My name is Devan Narog, a life scout on the path to Eagle and I will be hosting an Eagle project for those who need service hours. The project will be building 3 compost bins for Graham Middle School and construction will take place at my house, 275 Chatham Way, Mountain View, CA on Saturday April 15. No special skills are necessary, but a background in basic carpentry will be very helpful. We will start working at 9 am and work till 4 pm. There will be free pizza and drinks for volunteers who come before 12pm. I hope to see many scouts there!

Thank you,

Devan Narog

Join us for two nights of camping and premier river rafting on the South Fork of the American River ... one of the most popular rivers in the United States.  The South Fork is an easy to moderate intensity Class II-III rafting river and is a great way for everyone from ages 6 to 106 to experience the fun of whitewater rafting.  Perfect for all of our scouts (even first timers!), this adventure is sure to bring out huge smiles on all of your faces.  Enjoy the relaxation of floating down a river with moments of sheer excitement as you paddle through fun-filled rapids.  It's a perfect river to bring together just the right level of excitement.

We will begin our rafting trip from the campsite and will paddle down the 15-mile South Fork Gorge Run, warming up first on Class I-II rapids before conquering Class II-III rapids such as Fowlers Rock, Triple Threat, Satan's Cesspool, and Hospital Bar.  Lunch on the river will be provided and will consist of sandwiches (with several choices of meats, cheeses, and vegetables), finger foods, and cookies.  There will be a short 20-min bus ride back to the campsite, where the scouts will have time to shower/freshen up before a delicious BBQ dinner.
