Sunday, nine Troop 33 Scouts, plus two Cub Scouts and four Girl Scouts participated in the LAUMC Scout Sunday services.  Alex Vastano gave his Witness of Faith and read the Bible Reading, and Alex Zaretski read the Offertory – Prayer of Dedication at the 8:30 service, and Justin Cai gave his Witness of Faith, and Wyatt Oates read the Bible Reading at the 10:00 service.  The other Scouts were either greeters, handed out bulletins, or both.  Alan Cyron, Tom Poppitz, Peter Stanley and I were the uniformed leaders, and John Vastano, the Troop Chartered Organization Representative (both Troop and Pack 33), who also organized and ran the event for us.  Thanks to the Scouts and John for two excellent services.

Reminder: Let’s go to a Sharks game!

Troop 33 has an opportunity to go watch the San Jose Sharks play the Columbus Blue Jackets on March 4th.  If you’ve never seen a hockey game, it’s the fastest game on earth.  The Sharks are currently in second place in the Pacific Division for a playoff slot, so this will be an important game, which means lots of excitement.  No prior knowledge of hockey is required to have a great time.

Date: 04 March 2018 at 6 PM (Sunday) — leave at 4:30pm from LAUMC, return by 9 pm

Game: San Jose Sharks vs Columbus Blue Jackets

Signups open.
