Scoutmaster Update

Chris Webb christopherawebb@comcast.net

Saturday, Mr. Narog took 11 Scouts and 4 adults on a tour of Alcatraz Island.  It was an outstanding day both for the weather and the tour.  The Scouts ended the day with some time at Pier 39.  Did someone say chocolate?  Mr. Browning led two Philmont preparatory hikes, one on Saturday and another on Sunday.  These Scouts should be more than ready for their Philmont experience which is only 36 days away.  Also on Sunday, Mr. Gabrielson and Mr. Coolen did another check-out ride for five Scouts so they can go on Tuesday’s Monte Bello mountian bike ride.

THIS Tuesday

There is NO regular Troop meeting this Tuesday.  The Monte Bello mountain bike ride is Tuesday - pizza will be provided to those who ride at the end of trip.  Please see the activities page for details where to meet and pick up the Scouts that have signed up to go.  https://sites.google.com/a/troop33.org/www/activities/2014/mountain_biking
