Tamarancho Weekend Update

Matheus Coolen

This weekend 14 scouts and 7 adults went mountain biking at Camp Tamarancho. We had a terrific weekend. On Friday night it was nice and warm setting up camp. Some scouts went to sleep at 10pm, some played cards till late in the evening. On Saturday we hit the trails at 9:30 am, came back for lunch and went back on the trails again. A full day of single track mountain biking. Really awesome! Everybody did great, some with, some without scratches bruises and dents! That evening all the scouts went in their tents by 8pm. On Sunday we had breakfast, packed up ,and returned to LAUMC just after 12 pm. The trails at Tamarancho are most single track trails and in excellent shape and many bikers come from all over to ride on them. It was a wonderful mountain biking weekend.
