Treasurer Update:

It's been my pleasure to serve as the T33 treasurer for the past 5 years, and I am handing the responsibility over to Doris Hsu. During May, we will be working together, so all requests can go to either or both of us. We will work together to make sure everything is covered. Our emails are and Many thanks to Doris for stepping up to take on this role.

While reviewing the job responsibilities, we've come up with a couple of procedural changes to make the job more manageable.

Up until now, I've been forwarding PayPal transaction receipts to the activity coordinators to inform them of payments. Going forward it is the responsibility of the person making the payment to forward the receipt to the AC.

Mileage Reimbursement:

The activity Scoutmaster or the AC have been sending me a list of drivers for each event, but I have no way of knowing if the driver will submit a reimbursement form with additional expenses. A fair amount of time is spent following up with less than an optimal response rate. Going forward:

Drivers with no other expenses: Send an email to the treasurer requesting reimbursement for driving. If you don't request, your mileage reimbursement will be considered a donation to the troop.

Drivers with other expenses (food, parking, entrance fees, etc): Fill out the troop expense form and email/mail/give to the treasurer. Include all receipts. The expense form can be found in the documents section of the troop website.

Thank you for being a great treasurer the last 5 years Judy!

Eagle Court of Honor Coordinator Needed ASAP

We are looking for a new Eagle Court of Honor Coordinator ASAP. Our previous volunteer had to resign suddenly due to family illness. We especially need someone really soon so that we can honor the Scouts who recently completed their Eagle award this year. If you are interested, please contact Amy Mendenhall at or Alan Cyron at

Thank you!

Yosemite Camping Activity Coordinator Needed

We are looking for an AC for the Labor Day weekend Yosemite Camping trip. Please let Amy Mendenhall know if you are available to help. The coordinator needs to collect forms and payments, and to update the website page to show what the planned activities are. The campsites have already been reserved.

Thank you!

Call for merit badge books

Scouts, it’s almost summer camp time and lots of scouts will need merit badge books for their classes. If you are aging out of scouts or have some extras at home, please consider donating them to the troop.

Please bring them to the next few troop meeting.
